例如,将“we can see that the effect is significant”改为“the analysis reveals a significant effect”,其中“reveals”作为强动词直接传递结论。名词化改写则能压缩信息密度:比如“the results show that the treatment improved outcomes”可优化为“the treatment demonstrated an improvement in outcomes”,将动词“improved”转为名词“improvement”,更符合英文论文的静态特征。
以一项纳入420例2型糖尿病患者的Meta分析为例,原始描述为“we found that metformin reduced HbA1c by 0.5%”,修改后为“the meta-analysis demonstrates a 0.5% reduction in HbA1c associated with metformin therapy”。 此外,避免“there is/are”开头的存在句,改用主语明确的主动句,如“heterogeneity was observed”改为“the analysis revealed substantial heterogeneity”。
